On his first day in Corvallis, Dave wandered into the Old World Deli and stumbled over the Kings Valley Fiddlers. Only one fiddler was present, but the diverse gathering of string players put on quite a show for the dozen or so patrons present. The group never took a break, so Dave never got their names— but he captured their images and a sampling of their sound during an hour of enthusiastic celebration.

Antioch is a city with at least three identities. It's called RiverTown, the Gateway to the Delta and the Heart of Contra Costa County. Though there's no denying that its roots lie in the Delta, in coal mining and commerce (notably lumber), its population boom probably has more to do with its proximity to the Bay Area.
